Dear Lessac Friends,

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the 11th Annual Conference of the Lessac Training and Research Institute, which will be held January 5-7, 2016 Denver, CO. Celebrating and returning to our first conference site, our theme this year is “Returning to Our Natural State: Tapping into Our Optimal Voice and Body .” I would like to personally invite you to begin submitting your proposals for presentations to share at this year’s conference. Please see the “Guidelines for Presentations of the Annual Lessac Institute Conferences” section on the Conference Registration Form for more information. Conference Proposal submissions are due by October 1, 2015.

On Tuesday, January 5, a Pre-Conference Workshop for Sustaining Certification will be held. Approximately 6 hours will be scheduled for sessions with topics initiated by Master Teachers and by the attending certified trainers.
The sessions are intended to provide:
• Recently evolved vocabulary and/or progressions of events of voice and body work.
• The refreshing experience of reviewing a voice or body training event with peers.
• Clarity of training procedures or concepts.
The fee for this workshop will be $150.00 . This will cover master teacher fees and facilities.  Attending this workshop will fulfill the recent requirement initiated by members in 2014 for sustaining certification in good standing.  The conference hotel will extend the conference rate for this event.

In addition, on Friday, January 8, this year’s conference will highlight a half-day post-conference community workshop from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the nearby Curious Theatre. This optional post-conference workshop will introduce the body work to different local communities who are drawn to our bio-dynamic approach to voice and body work and will highlight how our body energies yield the optimal voice.  So whether you are new or experienced, or just want to experience how to create this type of workshop by being a part of it, come taste the work again and get ready to explore both familiar and wilderness paths because this is Lessac For You.  Workshop will be lead by Certified Trainers, Jo Lenhart & Crystal Robbins.  Participants may extend lodging at the conference rate. Please see your Conference Registration Form for Hotel contact and reservation information.  Suggested donation of $20.00 to the Institute.
