Voice Acting for Video Games

  • ONLINE VIA ZOOM (Times listed are EDT) New York, NY, 10034 United States (map)

Video game voice acting is a very particular niche and a coveted occupation for actors. The pay is good but, the demands on the actor are challenging and often unhealthy. This week we will have a special guest from the video game world who will be here to answer all of your questions and talk about voice acting for video games. Jeremy Hall has been voice directing video games for over 10 years and his voice directing credits include Ratchet and Clank PS4, Feral RightsSunset OverdriveEdge of Nowhere, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Fortnite, Jurassic Park Evolution, Marvel's Avengers and most recently Ghost of Tsushima. He will discuss process and current trends and the often unhealthy vocal demands placed on actors (and maybe, if we’re lucky, he’ll talk about what it was like to voice direct Judi Dench and Jeff Golblum) Bring your questions!
