Statement

I believe the best voice work comes from a holistic approach to teaching, incorporating vocal, physical, intellectual, imaginative and emotional explorations. No two students are alike; therefore, it is important to know many ways to approach voice work, and to honor all methods regardless of differences of approach. I want to instill in my students a love of language and of sound, and a fearlessness in approaching any role. I want them to believe in their unique potential and encourage them to pursue excellence with enthusiasm.
