Experience with the Lessac Work
I am a Master Teacher in the work, having received that status in 2002. I have been teaching the work since 1980, having received my Certification in 1993. I taught with Arthur Lessac and Sue Ann Park as a member of the Summer Intensive faculty from 1993-2001, then took over teaching the Body work at the Intensive until 2007, when I became Co-Director of the Summer Intensives, along with fellow Master Teacher Deb Kinghorn. I teach at the Baltimore School for the Arts, with a four year curriculum in the training, and also own/operate my own private Voice Studio—The Voiceworks, in which I instruct and coach using this work exclusively.
I wouldn’t teach anything but the Lessac Kinesensic Training. There has never been a vocal problem that I couldn’t solve using this work in some way. I love it, and love sharing it with whomever wants to learn. It is one of my passions in life. My goal is to continue learning about it, deepening my own awareness, locating any and all avenues that may lead me to share it with others.
