Re: Announcement: Summer 2014 Calls for Scholars and Collaborators
Date: September 26, 2014
LTRI’s Research Committee is pleased to announce two open calls for certified Lessac Trainers to participate/collaborate in ongoing Institute research:
1. Autism, Communication, and Development Disorders. We are currently inviting certified Lessac trainers who have experience with populations that have autism, communication, or development disorders and would be interested in participating in a project or projects tracing and/or assessing the use of Lessac Kinesensics towards the well-being of these populations.
2. English Accent Acquisition Production. We are currently inviting Lessac certified trainers who have experience with English accent acquisition production and/or working with ESL populations and would be interesting in participating in a project or projects tracing or assessing the use of Lessac Kinensics as an approach to accent acquisition or the use of Lessac Kinensics to improve communication efficacy in users of English as a second language.
The opportunity to collaborate is inclusive of multiple research methodologies, including narrative (ethos writing) and performance, as well as more traditional forms of data collection and scientific analysis. Whether you are currently involved in ongoing research and would like to participate in a collective effort in these areas, or are drawn to these areas of investigation but have not yet started, we would love to hear from you.
