We read an academic article, book, or watch a research presentation or performance situated within research - we encounter these marvelous discoveries and we think: “How did they do that?” or “It must be hard.” Actually, it isn’t all that difficult, so long as one has a plan or a strategy. And the interesting thing is that, every time we step into a class, or a rehearsal, or ask for money for a project, we are actually doing what the article or book is doing: applying research thinking.
The purpose, therefore, of this Kinesensic Connections meeting (and more to follow) is to share some of the strategies that go into the doing and writing of research . . . the strategies, the systems, the tricks of the trade.
Because we all, as Kinesensic thinkers and doers, have much to offer and we need to get our work out there in ways that “out there” will accept.
