WORKSHOP COVERS:
Lessac body work:
Organic movement processes that support relaxation, energy, self-care and self-regulation;
Lessac body NRGs (energies) to cultivate ease and energy, enhance expression, and inspire dynamic creative choices.
Lessac voice work
Exploration of the expressive potential of the human instrument through vocalization and articulation;
Lessac vocal NRG’s for healthful vocal practice, self-care, and range for creative expression.
Lessac principles
Build strategies for ongoing vocal and physical wellbeing;
self-guided techniques, performance strategies, and wellness practices to support both your craft and daily life.

Just steps away from historic Fenway Park and bustling Boylston Street, Boston Conservatory at Berklee is located in the heart of Boston, one of the most vibrant cities in the United States. Boston Conservatory's historic brownstone buildings are surrounded by internally acclaimed performing arts organizations—including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Ballet, Museum of Fine Arts, and Huntington Theatre Company—and the campus has many shared facilities with Berklee College of Music, located just down the street.

MEET THE FACILITATORS
A Certified Trainer of Lessac Kinesensic BodyVoice Training (2012) and a Registered Somatic Movement Educator through ISMETA, Aimee is an actor, singer, director, voice coach and performance educator with over 20 years experience performing, producing, directing and instructing in the theatre world. As a voice and dialect coach, Aimee has worked on numerous productions for Universities and theatre companies across Australia and New England. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts Acting program (2003), she has numerous acting and directing credits in Australia and the USA. Aimee is currently a Senior Lecturer in the University of New Hampshire’s Theatre & Dance Department, and instructor for Boston Conservatory at the Berklee College of Music. Aimee is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA) and serves as the Immediate-Past President for the Lessac Training and Research Institute.

Deborah Kinghorn is a Master Teacher of Lessac Kinesensic BodyVoice Training and Professor Emerita of Acting and Directing at the University of New Hampshire. She has taught Kinesensic workshops and courses in Croatia, South Africa, Brazil, England, Puerto Rico and Finland. A Fulbright Scholar, she co-authored “Essential Lessac: Honoring the Familiar in Body, Mind, Spirit” with Arthur Lessac, a handbook which provides simple yet concrete instruction towards physical and vocal well-being. She volunteers as the Director of Education at the Lessac Training and Research Institute. She is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA) and on the Leadership Council of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). Her current focus is on training new facilitators for Kinesensics, both Certified Trainers and Master Teachers.
